I can understand that it must boring to see me just talking about this one face again and again, But there are few such beauties that I can honestl say I find beautul. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so this is very subjective indeed. So in the eyes of this beholder, Madhubala stands out as the face that I love to just stare at most. I think Tarana has Madhubala at her freshest and she is supremely vivacious and most innocently charming there. Then you see her in a film like Amar- s mature and so much more Wow-y. Then for a couple of years, she is lost from the screen, then emerging equally gorgeous in Chalti kaa naam gaadi, Howraah brdge, Barsaat ki raat etc. She always brings a kind of brightmess to the screen and there is charm and laughs in the air. Tats Madam Madhubala for you.
And among Hollywood folks, I do not look beyond Ingrid Bergman. You just cant look beyond her. Innocent,beautiful and a sparkle in her eyes.. yet an air of enigma about her. Seems to convey so many hidden secrets. While Casablanca is her passport to eternal fame, my favorite Ingrid moments are in Spellbound. I have always had a weakness for actresses with glasses, and Ingrid looks so radiant in those spectacles. A natural beauty and my favorite non Indian face forever
